Exceptional Chidrens Camp:
What a wonderful two weeks the kids had at
summer camp! They went swimming, to the
movies and to Discovery Place. They made
cakes, crafts, had a water day and the
Tractor Man brought his tractors for the
kids to sit on, ride and enjoy. And the
favorite things, as usual, was the talent
show. We had a variety of songs and dancing,
and this year we had a magician. A special
thanks to Sam and Lynn Lewis for all their
help with the show, and to J. Hugh Helms for
being our announcer. Thank you to Pastor
George for his prayers and for checking in
on the kids. Thank you to the WMU for their
donation of supplies. To anyone else that
helped out in any way please know we
appreciate you.
We had our regular kids that come each year,
but we also had several new students. There
was a total enrollment of 12 children this
year. As always, the parents were very
appreciative to our church for sponsoring
such an important and fun two weeks for
their exceptional children.
Each year I try to express my thanks to the
church for sponsoring this event. I hope you
know how much your generosity is
appreciated. Natalie and I love each one of
you and I hope you can see, from the
excitement on Natalie’s face, how much this
means to her and her friends, and how much
they appreciate it.

Church Carnival:
We held a church-wide carnival on Saturday, August
4th. This was a way to show our Mill Creek Kidz how
much they mean to our church and how much we
appreciate them. We had a good turn out even though
it was very hot outside. There was food, games,
inflatables and live music. The Carnival Committee
wishes to say thank you to any and all that had a
part in the carnival. We appreciate you and your
kindness, and we could not have done it without you.
Thank you, church, for allowing us to hold this
event for our children. Mill Creek is a very
generous and caring church and we are very luck to
have your support.
