*Meets on the first Tuesday night of each month at suppertime.

When the term “Brotherhood” or Baptist men is mentioned, many folks automatically think of a Saturday or Sunday morning breakfast meeting in which men meet, eat and go home.  this, however, isn’t the case at Mill Creek Baptist Church.  Several years ago, meetings were moved to the first Tuesday of each month at suppertime.  This accomplished two things:
» Attendance Increased
» Preparation to Serve Improved

The brotherhood has always looked for ways to serve God through the church, but also to serve the community and surrounding areas.  Mill Creek is blessed with men of many different talents.  Past Brotherhood projects have included such jobs as cutting trees from someone’s yard to building handicap accessible ramps at homes to totally remodeling a mobile home and everything in between.  The Brotherhood built the current Sunday School rooms between the fellowship hall and the children’s Sunday School wing, the adult Sunday School rooms, the church office and the pastor’s office.  They have served in NC flood relief, rebuilt bridges in the NC mountains and served many time sin hurricane disaster rebuilding in Atlantic, NC.    But the main focus of all work has been God being in the center of  it all.  In each project, the Brotherhood shares their love for God and the Good News.  Come and join the fellowship, enjoy the good food, devotion time and planning the future.
